These scissors work great. They are sharp and very easy to operate when they are in the open position.
There is a saftey lock on them that can be a little difficult unlatching. My Mother has problems with her hands and this was the only drawback to them. But other than that I myself found they work nice and I actually perferred them to the traditional style scissors for cutting.
