Fiskars 9485 Data Comm Snips
These are absolutely the best pair of scissors I have ever owned. I am currently replacing a pair that I have owned for about 8 years and they have seen it all... I used to work for the local electricians union as a communications installer. The snips performed better than most other brands, by having tiny serrations on one blade they grip the material being cut. Also, by being smaller they could often be manuvered into tighter locations with ease. Since retiring the snips from the union they have been a very handy multi-purpose snip. They have pruned my garden and cut vegetables countless times, they have also proved to be a priceless fishing item. A real go to tool for making up big game skirted trolling lures or mono shock leaders for your surf rod. If you're looking for a good pair of heavy duty snips consider these. It's unfotunate that Fiskars has discontinued them.
